"Sufficient Ablution" is an excerpt from my hybrid work of essay/memoir "A Thousand Beautiful Things", a poor person's guide to the healing therapy of interior design. Being a gay male, it is also an instinctive response to the myth of the rich hedonistic gay lifestyle since my biggest orgy of depravity is a cup of coffee and crafts from the dollar store!
