More recently, President Obama has given voice to his views of Changes in the auto industry.

What blows me away in all this introspective auto industry make over is simply this:

For so many years now GM and Chrysler and so many of the car manufacture's have been designing and
re designing autos with bigger and bigger wheel bases. More pistons than ever before. The Dodge RAM Pickup with
10 cylinders for example and all of these cars have exhaust emmission devices installed on them that "try" to
recycle and use up just as much of the harmful gases emitted as possible. It's overall Costs of replacement parts
on these vehicles that worrys me on the parts like EGM Valves and the Oxygent Sensors and so forth.

But for once, WHY don't GM and Chrysler and Dodge and the whole "Hee Haw Gang"....Take just a moment and "ASK" the
people of
America "What's Wrong...??" WHY arent' more people buying more cars of late...??

As serious a concern as pollution is for all of us on this Planet Earth .....as well as the incredible exspenses
that owning a good car now entails....Owning and operating a motor vehicle has become a Luxury...!

The American People should get the chance to Have a Say....in What's going on with THEM the people who get in debt
and buy cars and trucks etc etc.

In my view, if I may here.....The cars of today are larger and more powerful than ever before..! Prestige and Pampering
Fancy as well as bad gas milage for most of them.

Taking a good look at the new Smart Cars.....???

An interesting inovation I must say in personal motoring and transportation.
What bothers me is the size seems so small to be driving around in a car of that nature in the midst of F-150 pickups...Avalanches
Cadillacs...
and Semi's as well as 18 wheelers etc etc.

The Ideaology of the Smart Car is Great ...don't get me wrong, they are very nicely made. It's only the aspect of just how small in comparison
to so many of America's current cars and trucks and buses on the road now.

And taking yet another look at India's latest auto for the public is the "NANO". Small and yet so much much more
affordable for a Family who just doesn't have all the big bucks to afford a Hummer, Or a HumV...?

In closing, something has to give America...! The People need to communicate to the auto industry What THEY
most desire in a car. What will best suit their needs as well as what they can afford to not only buy...but maintain
and keep in good and safe driving condition. Not to mention proper Insurance coverage.

And from the looks of things, 20 miles per gallon just ain't gona get it folks. Not with Gas Prices as they are
and have been.

Obama spoke quite of bit of "Change" for America....Why not take few moments President Obama and honestly, and simply
ASK The American People...
What want now and look for in a car..??? And try to be more accepting of what is then offered by the auto industry.
