becoming a unit of peaceGreat article from Deepak Chopra including a week long peacemaking exercise. The prevailing idea is that war begins in each human heart and can only end there. The religious tradition of praying for peace is the closest most people will ever come to ending war in their own hearts. Most people have actually never heard of this approach.
Why has it failed? Because nobody has really tried it. Well, I wouldn't say nobody has tried it. But certainly not enough people have tried it yet. Happy International Day of Peace, everyone! May peace prevail on Earth. Jason.

we need more
I am encouraged and uplifted when I see well-known people such as Deepak Chopra not only promoting peace but taking an active part. It raises the consciousness of the entire planet, so that perhaps one day, enough people will say NO to war and YES to nonviolent solutions.

Pay4Peace
Every*One, regardless of spiritual or political bent, can adopt the global tradition of 'Paying4Peace', thus lending a proactive, pro*peace approach unto its creation, which is possibly the closest many people will ever come to ending war in their own life time. Every*One has heard of this approach.
Why has it failed?
Because no*body has seriously adopted it.
