Peace*Profit ;)

Often we hear there is no money to be made in peaceful activities, no profit to be seen in the truth, or in love and compassion.

These are concepts held forth and supported by those who can see only the short term gain in personal greed and ego, the true profit in peace, love, compassion, and truth itself is of course the reality of its creation.

As for the money which is made even now in the creation of peace and by acts of compassion, is far greater than that which is spent on the preparation for war. It is the act of war, the actual creation and action of carrying out the conflict and its resulting destruction of all that peace and compassion continually creates, which continues the cycle of this imbalance.

Ending the cycle of conflict and fear, has and will open a flood gate of invention and discovery into the reality of true compassionate creation, the likes of which this world has never experienced.

The powers that be, are not the powers which will always be, the state of wealth distribution is not the state which will always be, the monetary system which now exists can not hold its grip forever and will soon face the greatest challenges and need for change of its arrogant life, just as the current political system is now beginning to face.

World Peace, will not be free, as nothing in truth is, the payment both in terms of worldly exchange, goods, services, environment and lives, will be high, yet the burden will be the most enlightening of any ever achieved by the human race, you are on this course by the freewill given of truth, and it is one which will truly set you free.

money is a tool, humans are the users

I agree with Rainbow Brain's comment completely. Let me further point out that people tend to place a lot of blame on "money" as being a problem. But money itself is only a tool. While certainly it can be used to promote our worst tendencies, it can also be used to promote our highest ideals and principles. In fact it can be used very effectively to build a peaceful, sustainable, life-enriching world and culture for the human race. The blame for not doing this rests with - go figure - the human race. It is not money's fault.

Money is a powerful tool, and we must consider that every dollar, peso, pound and yen that we spend is a vote for the kind of world we want. Therefore, people of peace must build worthy institutions and companies where other people of peace can spend their money in good conscience. We are in the beginning stages of the process of establishing the peace economy. If you look hard enough you will find that these kinds of institutions and companies exist and can provide you with almost everything you need in life from birth to death.
