Besides Buy Nothing, we are asked to do no work for money on that day. May 1st is also the first anniversary of the Downing Street Minute and the third anniversary of the charade known as Victory in Iraq. We should be able to connect those dots with a serious public information campaign at May Day demonstrations and rallies. Something which is about to happen and may very well be driven into the collective consciousness is, if the planned Latino boycott on spending is carried forth to a scale that affects the US and then the global economy.
