 <description>&lt;em&gt;The following was written by Dennis Kyne, who served 15 years in the U.S. Army.  This is his account of the events and controversy at Ft. Bragg last weekend.&lt;/em&gt;


From a distance I heard Drew Plummer say, &quot;Hey, Dennis!&quot; He was standing in the Porta Potty crowd, in the middle of a line that was on the end of ten lines that were already twenty people deep. It was eleven in the morning and it was packed; the rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina hadn&#039;t even started. In the distance, musician Ralph Baldwin, a Vietnam veteran, kicked off the rally with a haunting song from his album, Hold Onto The Dream. I knew right then, and I get goose bumps as I write this, that I was in the right place, and this was definitely the right time.
