do you really think, that, after fighting in Iraq, any of our soldiers are "healthy"?....what is your understanding of "healthy"?

support

Hi taragolden,

I don't know the answers to your questions, and I'm sorry to hear that you feel discouraged. I think your video and accomplishments are quite commendable, and certainly deserving of the recognition they have received. Are you asking for financial support? It's not exactly the mission of this site to support fundraising efforts. But feel free to give it a try if you like.

Jason.

Thinking Dove wrote:Imagine

Thinking Dove wrote:
Imagine how much safer and peaceful our world will be when anyone who wants an atomic bomb can have one.

Huh? Like a second amendment for nuclear arms? Will people have to get a permit like for handguns? Will children sneak them into schools to threaten their rivals or "protect" themselves? Will the hapless accidentally annihilate their town while cleaning it because "they didn't realize it was loaded"? Will exploring toddlers happen upon a device, stored by a foolish parent in a non-childproof location, and innocently start a global nuclear misunderstanding?

My view is that our species must become very skilled in identifying and purging errant technologies. We've done it before. For example, we no longer construct buildings with asbestos. We no longer spray our parks and neighborhoods with DDT. We no longer make paint with lead. The difference with nuclear arms is the massive power over others that the technology affords. We have to purge our desire for such power from our collective consciousness before policy makers will be able to recognize the complete insanity of these weapons.

Balance of Power

It is simple bigotry that Iran is not being allowed to develop atomic weapons. Why shouldn't an Islamic hereditary theocracy be allowed to build I.C.B.M.s?

A nuclear middle-east will be a peaceful middle-east because of Mutually assured destruction. Mutually assured destruction kept the peace between the United States and the Soviet Union for decades.

Atomic bombs are defensive weapons because they make victory impossible for anyone.
Nuclear proliferation is going to happen sooner or later any way.

Technology always spreads. Gunpowder was invented by the Chinese, but now everyone has it. Even the most isolated illiterate tribesman carrys an assualt rifle when he goes to war.

In the future, every Mullah, Latin American Generalismo, and African Warlord will have the ability to hurl nuclear weapons at one another. But, they will also be threatened with the same thing comming back at them. War shall become obsolete and peace shall prevail.

It is racist to think that only educated democratically elected, western leaders can face the reality of mutually assured destruction and act reasonably

Nuclear Bigots

Should the United States sit in Judgement of the world and decide who can have a modern military and who can't?
Are we to punish Iran like the ancient greek gods punished Prometheus for stealing fire?

It is bigotry to oppose Iran's Nuclear ambitions just because it is governed by a hereditary Islamic Theocracy.

We need to look at Iran's promise to wipe Israel off the map, and set Tel Aviv ablaze in context. It's just harmless Hyperbole.

The Soviet Union threatened to bury us once,,,and everything turned out fine

critical mass

understand what you are saying...

more and more peacers, from all walks of life, are working with you to hold the increasingly vast positive space that is sufficient enough in power and "mass" to tip those dominoes into peace...

Jeff Chapman-Crane poem and his "Agony of Gaia" sculpture

maybe they fixed it since last you looked, silent lotus, because the sculpture is viewable now, and is a scene involving a barren hillside, with several tall, sculpted figures standing on it, who evoke the same sense of death and devastation that the "altar" at Golgotha does...as does the poem...

very well done,

Even the most basic reaction of physics, does not require a majority of interaction to reach a state of critical mass, all that’s needed is to gain a tipping point of sufficient properties to cascade the system into the domino effect. The planet is very close to that point and the consciousness of humanity will follow suite, as the natural system seeks its balance.
