Afgahnistan at the Crossroads, an Evening with Sarah Chayes" At the Brooks School in Lincoln (Ballfield Road) at 7:30 p.m. Sarah Chayes was for many years a well-known and respected broadcaster and journalist with NPR, reporting from many different countries and war zones. She has now been living and working in Afghanistan for close to four years, helping with the rebuilding of a society devestated by war and poverty. She has previously spoken out very articulately and dynamically about her Afghan experiences in both Concord and Lincoln, and has raised significant funds for her very successful projects in both communities.
