Incapable of Peacemaking ?

Tags:

In the Middle East today there are more talks about war rather about peace. The crises around Iran is escalating, the French president has emphasized the use of nuclear weapons against any state that would support a terrorist attack against France. We seem to be back to the language of threatening and revenge rather than the language of conciliation and peacemaking.

Whatever the outcome of such escalation is, the losers are always the innocent people in the region. The suffering in the Middle East seems to be endless.

I wonder some time whether the humans are basically incapable of peacemaking?

Threat Talks re: Incapable of Peacemaking?

I didn't know the French said that. I'm sure they said, I was just glad you brought it to my attention. But you're right we don't know yet how to get alone. It is a frame of mind "we" are all stuck in. "Truth" Is the most fearful thing mankind will ever have to face. Truth is like our Sun, looked at directly will blind us. What I write about can not be told directly. You and everyone else would surely turn a deaf ear. My poems are not just cute, they are trying to enlighten you. If my poems offend you, frighten, or make you turn away, them there must be some truth in it. You must alway ask yourself, "What are we willing to give up for peace?". We are eventualy going to give something up. It wont be our war machines. Our frame of minds must change first. The only thing to change that is enlightenment, but from what? It will be and come from the words themselves. I am constently trying to convey to the world that words exist by nature. Why do I say this? No one will even question me. I don't understand their lack of curiousity. I'm stating this as a fact. A long time ago someone said the earth was round. Then they tried to get us to think it was going around the sun, what idiot came up with that. We all knew the earth was flat, we also knew the earth was the center of our universe. And now we all know man invented the words. If this is a fact, why do claim it to be false? I know it's false. You (the whole world) are afraid to look into it for fear it might be true. If someday the world learns this fact, it would prove there is a higher "power" then we can comprehend at the moment. The existence of a God. Then man would have to take a step back and take another look at himself. When mankind thinks he has all the answers (like he does now) look out, run and hide.
