flipping the frameNews from the Future of America - Part III In a huge push to promote their violent agenda, war activists staged an illegal invasion of Iran yesterday. After years of fundraising and concentrating corporate power, 50,000 hired mercenaries attacked by land, air and water. The maneuver was estimated to cost around $1 billion. President Victoria Sweeney declared a state of emergency. "We have frozen the assets of the corporations known to be involved in this outrageous act of hostility and intolerance. We are urging all nations to do the same." said the President. She assured the American public that she had been in touch with the president of Iran and that he understood that these acts were being carried out by extremist groups. The Iranian president is reported to have rebuked Ms. Sweeney saying that America must deal with its corporate extremists. The Iranian president requested that the United States not intervene militarily. "We can deal with this ourselves. We have a highly trained and proud military, which will crush these satanic invaders. We expect the full support of the world community in bringing these criminals to justice once we have neutralized them." Meanwhile, federal emergency response teams began organizing humanitarian relief packages to be sent to Iran. In national polls taken today, 85% of Americans said they strongly disagreed with the actions of the corporations. "These troublemakers are constantly upsetting peace and calm in the world." said Joe Antonio of Cleveland. Meanwhile, 48% of voters objected to using taxpayer money for the humanitarian relief effort. Senior sources at the Pentagon applauded President Sweeney's handling of the affair, expressing gratitude at not having to put men and women in uniform in harm's way before exhausting all diplomatic options in the ongoing negotiations over Iran's nuclear program. "Our military is prepared to fight, and will do so on the President's orders. We're thankful that this President understands the seriousness of that decision." said a high ranking officer who spoke on the condition of anonymity. Meanwhile anti-peace demonstrators rallied in major cities across the United States. The largest rally took place in Houston, where 150,000 waved flags and carried signs calling Sweeney a "spineless liberal flake". Sweeney, the second-term president from the PAJAMA Party, addressed the nation this afternoon, calling the acts by the corporate financed mercenaries "despicable acts of hatred". She said, "We commend Iran for their restraint and patience as the world community deals with corporate extremist elements. We will not lend credibility to these murderers by fighting along side them, as their action yesterday was simply a ploy to pull our country into their business problems. We will not allow them to hijack our agenda of peace and justice. That's final."
