It's been a long long seige for all of us in so many ways with the continuing War in Iraq. Is anybody really "winning" anything at this point? If so, it really doesn't show all that much. This past week a news commintator pointed out on television that the price for staying in Iraq has gone UP. She pointed out how it will cost America approximately 12 Billion Dollars per month to continue there. 12 Billion Dollars...!!! ??? Speaking of absurd overspending and still trying to take on another country's wars...How much is needed to complete the repairs to all the homes in New Orleans and Missippi after that terrible mishap known as "Katrina"??? Have we seen those probs thru as yet? What is going to become of America's Economy IF we continue to remain in Iraq much longer? Oh...that same news commintator also pointed out how IF America remains in Iraq for another year and even more...the costs will run in the multi "Trillions" of US Dollars. For Real...! In closing: I spoke with people here in America whom I've gotten to know pretty well who come from Saudi Arabia and Iran and Jordan. I asked them to tell me their own thoughts on "What would happen IF American Troups pulled out of Iraq?"... This was the reply of one man: IF American Troups were to pull out of Iraq, in his view, This would take Tremendous Pressures OFF of Iraqians. Further, given time....the people of Iraq would end up hugging each other like brothers or uncles and begin to quite down alot and start back into just taking care of business." I don't know HOW America is planning on Surviving as a Nation IF we continue to spend such devastating amounts of revnue and not to mention the great loss of Human Lives i.e., The Military Personel in Iraq. PEACE really Does Have It's Attributes...given an honest chance.
