The Global Village
I was involved in this same debate last Sunday. I think you're asking the wrong question, PeaceTalk. The question is not whether it's good or it's bad, or whether it's utopia or apocalypse. We must accept the reality, inevitability, and presence of the global village - there can be no turning back the hands of time - and find out the best way to make it work to the benefit of all. Rainbow Brain's statement that "the choices are to simply lead, join, or get out of the way" is clearly right on.

Is Cosmopolitanism a pure Utopia?
Not at All*, especially in view of the last 15 years of the development, demise, and creation of the Steps* which only a population held in Fear, is mostly likely to respond to, hence the concept of a cosmopolitanism state of being, as the global model will be the reality of the somewhat un-pure Utopia which will initially develop and then once firmly established will evolve into an Age of Wonderment like no other seen before.
The direction is set, the path is laid, the people will follow, the choices are to simply lead, join or get out of their way, as the way of truth and the power of love can not be altered.
