One major thing which is stalling the shift toward peace based development is for the people to become more aware of the power they hold, in mass, with their spending activities or lack there of. Something which is about to happen and may very well be driven into the collective consciousness is, if the planned Latino boycott on spending is carried forth to a scale that affects the US and then the global economy. Once other groups fully understand and see they can effectively vote on a local and/or global scale with their wallets, a domino effect could take the political world by storm, threatening and perhaps ending much of the S.O.S. fear based control.

Beginning the end of doing the S.ame O.ld S.hit, and raising the cry of S.O.S. - S.O.S. from the global community.

All one needs to remember and realize is how Bush's advice after 9-11 was for the people to go shopping.
