President Dr. John Hagelin Outlines Plan for National Security and World Peace - uspeacegovernment.orgPresident Dr. John Hagelin Outlines Plan for National Security and World Peace Dr. John Hagelin, President of the US Peace Government and renowned quantum physicist and public policy expert, is in Washington, DC, to launch a powerful new peace initiative that can make every nation secure from attack and create lasting peace for all nations. Dr. Hagelin is urging the implementation of a new, scientifically proven approach to peace based on the most recent discoveries of modern science. "This approach is the most thoroughly tested and rigorously established technology for peace and national security in the world today," Dr. Hagelin said. "It generates a palpable, measurable effect of peace that creates a fertile environment in which diplomatic and other conventional approaches can actually succeed. It should be the central component of any comprehensive approach to peace and national security." Dr. Hagelin also laid out a practical plan for President Bush and the international diplomatic community explaining how to end the escalating violence and win the peace in Iraq. The approach calls for the immediate establishment of a group of 8,000 peace-creating experts who will achieve what more than $120 billion and hundreds of thousands of US troops have failed to doâ€"bring peace to Iraq and simultaneously create an indomitable influence of peace throughout the world to safeguard all nations from violence and terrorism. While in Washington, Dr. Hagelin will be hosting a series of private luncheons for Ambassadors and their scientific liaisons. He will present to them this proven approach to national invincibility, and will help them organize and implement the approach in their countries (see invincibility.org for more information). These high-level diplomatic luncheons, along with press conferences and press luncheons, will be an ongoing, daily activity in the new US Peace Government offices in Washington, DC. Traditional approaches fail to address the underlying cause of conflict Dr. Hagelin said that research shows that traditional approaches to defense fail because they do not address the underlying cause of violence and conflict: they do not relieve the acute political, ethnic, and religious tensions that fuel terrorism and war. "We need an effective means to eliminate these deep-seated tensionsâ€"a proven approach that can prevent violence and bloodshed and promote peace and prosperity in the world," he said. A powerful approach to peace has been field tested for 25 years "These studies verify that the scientific knowledge and technologies are now available to end terrorism and conflict, to achieve indomitable national strength and security, and to create permanent world peace. By implementing a group of 8,000 experts practicing these technologies, every government can rise to invincibility and secure the peace and safety of its citizens. But the time to act is now," Dr. Hagelin said. propeace quoteWe stand by as children starve by the millions because we lack the will to eliminate hunger. Yet, we have found the will to develop missiles capable of flying over the polar cap and landing within a few hundred feet of their target. This is not innovation. It is a profound distortion of humanity's purpose on earth. daily ombeyondanandarecent blog postsactive discussionssimilar postswho's onlineThere are currently 0 users and 12 guests online.
