Am I that I am?
...finding the peace within

From the outside looking in
there is yet little that I've seen"¦
From the inside reaching out,
those glimpses helped me much!

II
Random introspection failed
to know the identity of my soul;
Am I really that I am,
had I really lived before?

III
Constant agitation
rock my mind and break my bones;
The need to feed my body daily,
the cry of passion so strong!

IV
The need to answer obligations
to those whose lives I've touched,
Has left my soul in isolation
- to find the peace within its self
at last?
