Mechanized*WarConsider this rationale for the robotic mechanization and further remote control of warfare. By its own recent admission the Pentagon is currently suffering the reality that 40,000 troops from all branches of the US military have deserted over the past 5 years, that's 20% of the 200,000 active duty personnel currently AWOL. At the very least 75% of the US population is unfit for military duty, due to obesity, health, age or as a result of higher education. Add to this the ever growing number of those who simply will not go into any type of service to kill and die for God & Country, and one easily comes to the conclusion that perhaps more than 80% of the population is either unfit, unable, or unwilling to hoist arms against the ever present, ever threatening, ever dangerous cycle of fear which drives the War Economy. This leaves the Military Industrial Complex one solution and one solution only for survival under the present system, Robotic and remote control of large scale inventory by the means of a few thousand individuals playing out real time, real world, warfare via satellite. The remote, impersonal and personal-less destruction of the very people who refuse to fight and die for your cause, which the recent events in the middle east have shown to be the case. It's easy to get a population all fired up to watch it on TV and cheer for their side, and more and more difficult to actually get them physically, morally and mentally involved in the process of killing, dying and giving up their right to vote for the next pop idol or dance star. We gave a war and No*Body came, so the robots killed each other and destroyed everything and everyone in their path. Time to build more machines and stand up the rubble so it can be knocked over again, Lego*Wars. * * * ©Bruce Larson*Moore * * * I do not have a Dream, I have a solution, There is no need to Imagine, the need is for action, I know that by the end of this decade, We*Can achieve the goal of making Peaceful*Nonviolent Security the driving economic strength of the world. propeace quoteWe must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. PEACE
I feel the same way. The words are beautiful and we need discourse. But actions are the next step.
They speak volumes.
I dream every night that peace is inevitable
PEACE must be won just like civil rights, voting rights, and all the gains of the 20th century. We have
experienced centuries of war and the DEATH LINE for peace is soon approaching. This site is the most signigicant one on the internet. It is directed toward many peaceful outcomes for world leaders to aspire to.
I am afraid the time is running out to change the hearts and minds of the greedy and corrupt individuals who profit from war. It is difficult to imagine how much money has been robbed in our war of choice in Iraq. BLOOD MONEY is a new book that I read that explicitly shows how seemingly normal people have used a war in which thousands of men and women have been killed, maimed, or permanently disturbed mentally, to increase their income and steal money aimed at reconstruction.
We need specific actions. The Stop the War Movement (Peace Movement) did specific things to bring about Lyndon Johson's withdrawal from running for office. It did turn the war around even though
thousands of soldiers still died in the next five years fighting a war which was based on a lie just as this one in Iraq is.
Let us pray. Let us discuss. But let us take specific actions to make sure we throw out anyone who supports war. Let's make it inexcusable to stand for war and be re-elected. The centrists who say that they are for the war and not for the way it is being run are merely talking out of both sides of their mouth.
We need courage in both parties: Democrats who will stand up for what is right and Republicans
who will stand up to their President when he is dead wrong.
Peace is inevitable only if we take specific actions:
1. Throw out the rest of the war mongers like Joseph LIeberman from the Senate.
2. Throw out the rest of the war mongers from the House.
3. Elect people who will "fight" for peace as a solution. Mankind cannot wait much longer.
Our species has a time limit. I call it the Death Line. It is coming and we must be more passionate to stop it.

I would merely suggest that we begin making our dreams and desires very specific. We have millions of retirees and young people entering and just leaving college who are tired of the
lies and distortions that have been made on behalf of creating a cycle of fear and a perpetual war.
The young people have very objective eyes and ears that have not been spoiled by media influence and the older people are wise enough to know the media is owned by the people who sponsor our wars and they are not going to interfere with the Military Industrial Complex.
If anything they will get rid of Inconvenient Truths, like the Dan Rathers of journalism and make fun of the Russ Feingolds who put out a reasonable time table for getting us out of a war of choice that had nothing to do with the terrorist threat to our country.
Isn't it odd that we supported the terrorists who now appear to be attacking us? The CIA sponsored Taliban and Osama Bin Laden was very helpful when we wanted to fight Russia by proxy in Afghanistan and Saddam was a good guy when we supplied him with WMD against Iran during the 8 year war in which 1 million innocent people died.
We stirred the Middle East to hate us and rise up against us. We now have a very short time span to reverse this process. Do you think we will make the DEATH LINE?
We need specific actions we can take and be accountable for accomplishing. Peace is not impossible. The will to "fight" for it must be there with the same fervor as the will to use weapons to kill. So far I don't see the passion to fight for peace as much as the real passion to use weapons to kill.

PEACE
to imagine, or not to imagine,
There is no need to Imagine, the need is for action,...
Now is the time to make our peaceful dreams reality, to use our imagination to place humanity, by the end of this decade, onto the bright and beautiful path of Building Peace Everyday.
Peace and War
Like Yin Yang, both exist. I beleive in Nature as an exemple for living my life. There is constant fighting for survival. There are many moments of peace also.
Peace alone cannot exist, nor war.I constantly search for peace in my personnal relations but
injustice and abuse of the weak of the world really awaken my Yin side.
Peace Is Inevitable
I love the way you take the very lexicon of war and fear and turn it into a lexicon of Peace and Love.

So true. Here we sit on the cusp of inevitable transformation. It's almost like we have to get out of our own way to let the transformation happen.
