At 12 noon today the Peace and Justice for America (PAJAMA) party took duly elected control of the Executive and enacted its first series of Executive Orders, setting the tone for the new administration.

Executive Order 1: Recommittment to the the United Nations and to the Rule of Law, domestic and international.

Executive Order 2: Intent to study International Treaties and consideration to join those in which the United States of America is delinquent.

Executive Order 3: Immediate suspension of government sponsored acts of violence worldwide, and formal end to the "war on terror".

Executive Order 4: Restoration of normal diplomatic relations with all nations, without pre-conditions, including the Nation of Palestine.

Executive Order 5: Pledge of transparency in government, release of suppressed documentation to the citizens to which they rightfully belong.

Executive Order 6: Immediate transference of funds allocated by Congress to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Executive Order 7: Re-allocation of defense department funds to violence prevention, conflict resolution, and mediation programs as a national security imperative.

Executive Order 8: Sense of the Executive that the Congress should enact legislation to establish a cabinet level Department of Peace.

Executive Order 9: Shutdown of the domestic wiretapping program, and a re-commitment to guaranteed Constitutional Rights.

Executive Order 10: revocation of policies of fear.

The unprecedented series of orders caused rejoicing among progressives worldwide. Even conservative pundits seemed to breathe a sigh of relief as the outgoing radical regime's policies were reversed in a visionary stroke of reason and leadership...

Pajama Party - I love it!

I've heard of the Peace and Freedom Party (PFP) but this is my first encounter with the "Pajama" party - how do I join?!!
