Peace for All. What a statement. Is it possible?

For me Peace is allowing more; allowing people to say and believe what they will, to experience what they choose, and to still be present for them to express it. Allowing gives room for a feeling of completion, and of hearing oneself in the act. Sometimes that is all someone needs to see the holes in their thoughts and actions.

We have grown to a society that is conscious of faults and flaws and have taken it to the extreme; by judging another through our own very narrow viewpoint. After judging we expect them to comply.

It is one thing to notice through our own growth what seems not "right". Yet it is not right to hold any one else to that measure. If we were to ALLOW and watch as each other grows through their life making desisions from their beliefs and then finding out what that means; both the observer and the one taking action would grow, and learn and be better for it.

Our children are great teachers of this if you take notice. Many times I am ready to make judgement and command on a situation only to find out how innocent and non-threatening it really was. I cannot count the times I have dropped my jaw at my childs responce to my query and shut it quietly...because of his truth.

When we extend this allowing out into our community, we also hlep to bridge understanding.

When we extend this allowing out into other cultures, we set up harmony which brings about peace.

So try this! Do you have an irritating friend who is outspoken and so belieiving in his truth, but you see it differently?? Try just allowing him to talk and feel you agree by your silence or simple statements of hearing his view. What happens? What happens over a period of time? As you allow more for them, you will find there is more room for your views as well.
Peace is the outcome!
