Thank you Bruce and John for these reflections. Here is what you have inspired in me.

Each of us can create something beautiful and lasting in this world. It is simply a matter of that on which we choose to focus.

We can choose to focus on our connection to something much greater than our tiny selves.

We can choose to have our awareness of that connection power us up like some cosmic spacecraft.

We can choose to set our intentions to divert power to our greatest capacities, qualities and capabilities.

We can choose to act through those capacities, qualities and capabilities.

We can choose to ignore the fear that tells us we are not powerful, not good, not capable, not worthy, and that our actions are futile.

We can choose to inspire others through praise of their greatest qualities.

We can choose to set our intention to draw others' awareness to their connection to something greater than themselves, helping to keep open the space for that awareness to manifest in unexpected, beautiful and uniquely individual ways.

I can feel the universe pushing me to expand my awareness and evolve. Releasing fear, I relent. I submit to this imperative. I am but an instrument, and even my free will I cannot claim.

thanks for the personal note, and again your ability and willingness to be open and attempt to understand, “my vision” (however i would not call it vision but it makes me smile, that others do, thanks ;)

You seem willing and interested so please allow me to take you on another short journey into my*truth.

i*can assure you that i*am not negative toward any faith, yet like yourself, i think it is very reprehensible how some individuals and groups use faith to lead flocks of generally good hearted people into the hell which they claim to be saving them from, while in general those who misuse that trust are very much responsible for creating the hellish situations. Many a tear have flowed across my cheeks from the knowledge which i*have seen in this regard.

i support all faith, which is supported by truth, the spirit of all faiths, perhaps what you would call the teaching of Jesus and/or the word of god, others would use different terms. The global situation to date offers many stumbling blocks in this regard as the words and teachings have been corrupted by fear along with those who have reason and agendas to do this.

So the task is to free the truth from the shadows imposed by fear, and in doing so it is imperative and necessary to bridge the chasms created by thousands of years of deception. This is going to be best accomplished by providing a system of understanding the universe which does not overly threaten any established faith and yet can simultaneously reach out to those who have been completely pushed from the light into the less savory aspects of life.

Conversion is not a viable goal, as i*think perhaps we can agree, it has proven to be not only arrogant and overly ignorant folly but extremely dangerous, and is of course completely unnecessary if one is simply taught to follow the truthful origins and teachings of their faith, which are tolerance, compassion, love, peace and trust.

Cooperation is key to this endeavor, always has been and always will be. There are situations in certain areas of the globe which are ready and ripe for this cooperation to begin in ernest, and yet many nations do not desire to initiate this goal, for the fear of the loss of what they perceive as control, but the reality is that their wealth and influence will increase many fold, if and only if they are the ones wise enough to see the benefit of creating a sustainable peaceful world. If not they will pass into oblivion as all powers before them have that did not follow truth and the desire to create a sustainable peace.

This system of cooperative tolerance has long been established in loose pockets throughout society and is now growing at a viral rate within the world community, thanks mostly to the web of course, and at present it sustains a current growth rate of over 300 % each calendar year of individuals choosing to embrace those who see that truth is the spirit of all faith, relationship and reality.

As the strength of this process develops its social, economic and political voice and presence, it is and will directly and automatically translate into pro-peace activity across the planet, establishing networks and policy for the greater good, relying on the interdependence and interconnectivity of a self organizing, self motivating system of cooperative support.

This is the spherical reality of creation in motion, attracting that which it creates, to all that creates and attracts it. The basic universal law of attraction, a simple equation which produces highly complex results.

Many things are being brought into creation that are waiting for this interconnected reality, to basically get a jump start, which will then begin a motion of unstoppable truth and awareness across the planet, all of nature including most of humanity are moving toward this ideal. When this truth is quite literally seen by all the world, it shall be an everlasting light to guide the path of World*Peace.

As you state, the source is debatable, as is the label one applies to that source, again we know the results of that way of viewing the world, so what is obviously not debatable is the fact that the current view must change to include many views which point one simple direction, toward world peace. The journey will vary greatly, the paths will be many and the experience a wonderment, yet the outcome must be to reach the same destination, which ironically is: HOME, where it all started, in peace, a family gathering where no one is killed just for being a bit odd or disagreeing with how much to share with the neighbors.

So not to stray to far off into parable land ;) what is important in all this is that the threat and fear of others be at first gradually tempered then rapidly diminished, and eventually completely banished. This will be accomplished by the light of truth shinning into every hollow of the world.

The situation we live under is one of disconnect between not only individuals, but especially it is a lack of unity between governments and the people. Government acts like a protective, doubting, angry parent, viewing the people as its adolescent children, who pay attention only to the media who acts like the older sibling whom knows just what the youngster should be doing, controlling the when, where and how life is enjoyed or not, continually teasing them with new toys they can not afford to have.

The government and the people must learn and accept the ability and desire to mature together, in order for peace and truth to rule their relationship, and they must also learn to limit the influence of the media and corporate influence on public social and political policy.

So this brings us to the question of what could possibly jump start this desire to build a more interconnected, and healthy relationship between individuals, government and media that would serve the greater good.

The solution is really quite simple, as the universe operates on a set of fairly simple equations which produce highly complex results. Thus the goal is to take a simple concept and create a complex result, which boarders on a miracle of human cooperation.

This may sound impossible, yet in fact and in practice it can be very straight forward, (Pearl Harbor, 9-11 etc.) of course world peace requires a more benign global event for its launch, which again is quite easily created if an atmosphere of cooperation can be dramatically established which in turn holds the promise of profit, gain and peaceful ego stroking, all of this can be accomplished within the right circumstance and especially so at this moment in history, one way to do this is for world leaders to accept my offer of making this event a reality, within the next 13 months. (12+13=Peace on Earth - Strength, Unity, Peaceful Change)

i*can show the leaders of the planet that peace is the way and that it is the true desire of the people, it will then be the peoples responsibility to carry the energy created by this global event forward into the realization of World*Peace - No*Compromise. It can and will be done, its inevitable, and the choice is to accept the opportunity now, peacefully or wait for the people to demand the path of change, and we all know the results of demanding anything from others, thus i*am proposing the alternative third option of embracing truth by initiating this:

First off, please allow me to begin by thanking you for your patience and understanding. I will try to bring my frame of reference into a light which you can examine. This will not be easy for me, as i am not used to dealing with others and especially those whom doubt or question my personal authority. My life is always one of knowing, it is lived in-between what most would call time, neither in the moment, nor the past, or future, it is one within the continuum of this spherical reality.

Some of the questions you have of my understanding, acceptance, or rejection, of my relationship and knowledge of god, christ and divinity require answers and truths which will not easily if at all meld with your strongly held history and life story. This i know from the content of your posts toward my work here.

i do not mean to admonish you with this statement, yet from my perspective your ability to label and box the world into parts and packages which fit a design of a certain history and its future desires is well documented here. This makes it difficult indeed for me, as i do not exist within such borders.

Having said that, please let me attempt to dispel at least from my base of knowledge, about me, some of that which you seem to hold as a possibility and perhaps a perspective or image.

Old/New Age Fantasy:
i am not a practitioner of any type of spiritual, religious, faith based, or atheist community, church, organization, club or cult that exist or has ever existed on this planet to date. Nor do i put faith solely in my self.

As for my acceptance of divinity including god, christ and my own, it is absolute and complete in its awareness, understanding and knowledge there of. For one to attempt to live in denial of that which completely surrounds, embodies and completes he'r, this physical, emotional, spiritual and metaphysical, creation which is of the central core of universal truth, the single reality, is sheer folly from my perspective, and i am fairly well impressed at how the concept of free will has emerged to begin to discover its truth, this was not expected to be the case, and at best was an extreme long shot on a universal scale of mathematical probability. No need to do the calculations, the evidence is very evident.

Next let me extoll that i am not challenging yours or any other doctrine or historical scripture with any of this, yet the simple fact of my truth and knowledge of and in that which you and many others describe as gods plan, is that he'r divine truth is that of change, and i thank he’r for that every micro moment of this long journey. This energy is not to be recycled any time soon, it is not to end as was the fore mentioned plan. This is the divinity of change, the absolute and unconditional power of love, the ability and divine right to shift he’r universal (mind*set) reality.

Question this and one is questioning the very existence of ones being.

i will next apologize for using “acid head jargon” but only to explain this (please note your use of a label that is so outside of the context of my personal reality that it is not only amusing to me, but rather insulting to my mere mortal truth and faith in how i do and have always lived) to quote, Salvador Dali - “i*do not use drugs, i*am drugs”. i am the result of a completely clean, physically healthy and i think relatively emotionally stable life of following my true path.

i am sorry that you are frustrated by my use of culturally relevant terms and material, but that is my entire purpose here, its what i do, my reason for being, to keep the message in a form and media which will travel the ages and be of benefit to present and especially future generations. Yes i am far from perfect in my use of the media, though much of that is by design, as the future is yet to be. That many are left to ponder the meanings is their own choice, as there are many other fine examples of these messages being created and offered to all faiths, groups and individuals, i am but one.

For what its worth to you, i can assure you that there are many who understand perhaps even to a greater clarity than i do, the meaning of that which i relate, and they are of course as you say free to refute or embrace it. Also as you state, “Jesus used parables, but in almost all instances their meaning was clear” the key term is of course “almost” and might i also point (again without meaning to provoke a direct challenge to your trust) that the words of Jesus are what i personally know to be at best, second hand accounts and translations of what he actually said, about their intended meaning, and lesson. Also the translations especially have undergone the onslaught of many a force which had no problem in changing or even destroying their original intent. There's that pesky ability to change the plan, popping up again, free will, it has been an interesting dilemma to deal with over all.

Now allow me to insert a small disclaimer for i am fairly certain you will not find in any of my work the statement that “i am “the” way” yes you will see many a reference to “i am truth” but not that i am “the” truth. If one does come across such a claim it is entirely a proof reading error or more likely the result of a quick response to a posting, which, understandably i think, i do not always pour over in great detail looking for every little nuance of possible misdirection.

As for your question of “my ability to lead humanity the way Jesus sought to, and did ? ” My answer would quite frankly be yes, as that is just what i am doing, although i do not seek to lead them, as neither did he, the fact is he “taught” small groups the truth of his message. As do i albeit in a more modern fashion, for as you continually point out here, there are similar safety issues that Jesus faced then, which currently have a rather technologically enhanced version of the sword at their disposal today, and the cross of the media is nothing to take lightly from my vantage point. Not that i fear these things, it is only that i have a task to complete, and must therefore be as intelligent as i can be, in how this task is accomplished. If i could pick up world peace at the local market, i still would not drive, walk or run down the center of the road to deliver it.

Now perhaps to dispel your continued reference to C.S. Lewis and his words: “either Jesus was who He said He was, or He was an insane fool.” Again i will attest to the fact that he was indeed who he said he was, although in retrospect many will then agree that he was an insane fool to have followed the plan. i do not agree with this as it was the plan of the day and he was completely aware of its outcome and of its full potential for success and or diversion, yet there was never any chance of failure, just as there is none now. Failure is a companion illusion of Fear.

Perhaps you now see that i do not think or have faith that man has an intrinsic ability to create lasting peace without the need of he’r divinity. Never in all of my work will you come across such assertions. Although one is free to read any such delusions of their own choosing into, what i do and what i am. Free*Will - 101, what a trip ;)

Overly strong missives is what it’s about, hence the creation of LO.V.E. and all its qualities, respect, tolerance, understanding compassion etc. , everything which is real and true to being at one with truths reality.

No need to forgive that which is created in love.

Ok seriously, there is only one savior on earths horizon, or for that matter any horizon. How that salvation is to manifest, implement and realize its goal is not only set in stone, but in all of life, how one interprets the physicality of this truth is not relevant, that one sees the certainty of it is all that will matter.

Love is, always has been and will be the savior, Peace is, always has been and will be the way. i see no other for there is no other to see.

One may label these realities what they will, freely. The truth is that there is only one, and only one way.

My insight, knowledge and certainty of hope springs forth from my complete inter connective reality and absolute willingness to allow the spirit of truth the creator of peace and love to guide every single step of my being, despite the longing of others, who have the will to freely allow me to live in fear.

This decision has offered me the insight, knowledge and hope of which i speak and write, and so it is my humble offering to give my truth to any and all who might desire to share in the attraction of being one who is here to return light, rather than to give energy. To assist within the spirit of saving this world, and this race, rather than to condemn it.

The details of how this all works within and through me are not something i wish to share here, open to all. That it does work is for others to accept or reject, i will offer, that any person is capable of what i do and is only limited in degree by their own choice of lesson and path. After all anyone can accept the spirit that moves and attracts all, and in doing so they shall be at peace with all.

i*am, as many before me, holding peace in my heart with the ability to offer this love to any whom choose to accept it. That this spirit is here and moves across and through all that is, is not in question, and never has been, only ones ability and willingness to embrace he’r, has ever been in question, and in fact that was the question which brought us all to this point.

A fitting place to rest for now, as i have (missed lunch) and need to build a fire, eat dinner and care for those who are my life, my family, my trust, within the greater trust of our family of humanity and its many spheres of support and reality within this wonderment of what man calls a universe or god, yet to me is our truth.

The message is simple: Truth (the hidden one) rests in every heart, allowing truth to guide one toward love and peace is the way forward.

If you are truth, as you say, then you set yourself up as your own God. If you accept Christ's divinity, there is conflict in this. If you do not, then quoting Him is ironic, since you apparently reject His claims of divinity, while trying to rely on Him to support your "truth."

I truly do not wish to attempt to impose my faith on you or anyone else, Rainbow Brain, for this is counter to the free choice God gave each of us. I just take strong exception to those who admonish Christians to follow their faith, while the speaker rejects it. I also discuss man's failure because recognizing that shortcoming leads us to seek aid from a higher power -- all can seek their own God, but seeking it "within" seems folly and New Age fantasy. Either there is a God who will rescue us, or there is endless worldly suffering ending in permanent death. The idea of the world suddenly abandoning all history and getting its act together defies reality, and as things continue to worsen, mankind will be compelled to confront its failures rather than fantastically extolling its non-existent virtues. A tick has more right to life than man, for it does not take more than it needs, or embrace evil, or kill for revenge, jealousy or pleasure. Without God, we are more worthless than ticks and mosquitos, we are corrupt and evil -- only through a higher power can we hope to be released from these bonds. You have a better chance of persuading a rabid polar bear to embrace peace than you do mankind, for the polar bear even then is animated not by an evil and selfish heart. Rejecting God is embracing self as deliverer, and though I truly wish such well-intentioned people as you had the power to rescue mankind, the whole purpose of the end of the world (in God's plan according to the Jewish, Muslim and Christian faiths) is to reveal man's deficiency as glaringly undeniable, so that those who have put faith in self will have a merciful opportunity to simply receive God's grace.

You make many high-sounding assertions in acid-head jargon, which frustrates me because I would like to hear some concrete logical position, some rational thought not couched in inscrutable symbolism. I enjoy poetry, but if I don't get your message is it because of my ignorance or your failure to employ the medium effectively? I ask this not rhetorically, but sincerely -- as I say, it frustrates me that I cannot follow your "vision thing" -- whether to refute it, or to embrace it.

If you are truth, you should be able to clearly convey your transcendent insight. Jesus used parables, but in almost all instances their meaning was clear. He also said "I am the way, the truth and the light." Is that what you are claiming when you call yourself truth? Can you lead humanity the way Jesus sought to, and did? If so, let's get on with articulating some vision rather than pretending to some magnificent insight and hope that is unrevealed to others. If not, let's not insult Jesus by quoting Him and rejecting Him at the same time. C.S. Lewis, a much brighter man than I, observed at length that this is the one thing we must not do -- either Jesus was who He said He was, or He was an insane fool. You cannot have your cake and eat it too, and call Him a great philosopher and just borrow what you like. This would be like construing Einstein's equation as E=mc, and then wondering why it didn't work when applied. "Mere Christianity" (by Lewis) expounds on this with marvelous insight, and explains why Jesus was far from insane. T.S. Elliot and J.R.R. Tolkien were also devout Christians. In fact, in "The Lord of the Rings" Tolkien was addressing your position -- the ring of power is any delusion by which man believes he can save himself (or the world), whether it be the power of law, of war, of necromancy, etc. All such delusions, however well intentioned, ultimately corrupt and make ring-wraiths and Gollums of us. This was Tolkien's message, which I here simply recount.

It is easy to engage in discourse with those with whom we agree, but we challenge ourselves and grow by civil and respectful discourse with those with whom we do not. Please forgive me if my previous missives were overly strong: though this was intentional, it was intended as a defense of my faith and not an attack on yours. I indeed will challenge your beliefs, as you are free to challenge mine. I wish though that this leads to spirited if passionate discourse, but not disrespectful condemnation. I apologize again if my words sound like the latter -- I reject your faith in man's intrinsic ability to create lasting peace in the face of avarice, but by no means do I reject your freedom to choose.

Actually, some fools believe that human nature is implicitly good, and thus that mankind has it within its power to "save itself." But history has proven time and again that self interest and fear rule humanity, and that such evils repeatedly eclipse reason and love.

For such hypocrites to then admonish those who acknowledge man's failure to read their Bibles, is ironic though not humorous. My moral authority is God's word, the Bible to which you direct me. I have by swearing loyalty to Christ already made a much deeper commitment than a shallow oath on a book. Christ is my daily peace even in the face of this world gone mad. True, many profess such faith and then turn a blind eye to the murder and torture committed by the government they support. But the most unfunny joke is a person who has rejected Christ telling others to embrace Him! Perhaps you should follow your own advice, Rainbow Brain -- only do Jesus Christ the justice of actually reading the book in earnest, not just laying your hand on it to seek mystical power.

Jesus Christ died a suffering death for the sins you say mankind can heal itself, and you exhort others to heed Him while you ignore Him. A cursory reading of the Gospels reveals that the only way to peace is through Him. All efforts by man to create peace will fail without the redeeming truth of Christ.

The war in Iraq is patently violative of Christ's teachings and God's laws, as is torture, pathological lying (Bush et al.), and the likely war yet to unfold in Iran. I advocate peace through the accountability of Christians to the faith they proclaim. But I am awed by the faith of many in "mankind" to save itself -- get real. I'm not a pessimist but a realist. Corporate America outguns the peaceniks, and has been gaining ground in this war between good and evil for decades. It's not that peaceful hippies aren't well intentioned, just that they're not reality based. America is just the latest in a long line of failed empires. But this is the big one. Our environment is irrevocably polluted, and any efforts to reverse this destruction will be plagued by the limitations of science, economics (it takes a lot more to remove toxins than to deposit them), and a burgeoning population. The world's economy is dependent on America's declining fortunes, and the only economic way out is warfare -- most of the rest of our economy is devoted to service sector and government jobs, which produce little GNP. We face insurmountable debt, waning oil supplies, an intractable and expensive war, and a declining morality (moral relativism leads to individualism and selfishness, the mainstays of modern America. The "He who dies with the most toys wins" free-market mantra has left us morally bankrupt, and we wish now to compel the world down the same path. If there is no hope in a divine force to save us, there is no hope at all -- this much is already staring us in the face, if our self-delusion and denial did not lead us to seek fantasy answers.

My hand is on my bible, Bruce, and I know that peace will come. I also know from whence it will come. What book is your morally relative hand on? C. S. Lewis wrote that the one thing we must not do is parse through the Gospels and accept what we like about Jesus and call Him a great human philosopher. Jesus said repeatedly that He was God incarnate, the life, truth, the "I am." How can people so easily rely on Jesus for moral authority while they deny His teachings that He was God in the flesh? Thomas Jefferson tried to do this (The Jeffersonian Bible), but later in life he too accepted the divinity of Christ. Perhaps you and others should consider this when you exhort Christians to embrace He whom you reject. Your hypocrisy is little different from the majority of "Christians" who do not heed their shepard's voice...just as Jesus foretold (The gate is narrow....).

May God bless you, and all who seek Him. Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to true peace. Remember this as the world as you "believe" it to be unravels in ways beyond your imagination. The world's super-torture-power has been developing biological weapons in violation of international law ($16 billion + so far). Bush has absolute dictatorial power under the USA Patriot Act, the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act of 2007, and the Military Commissions Act. The show hasn't even begun yet. After one hundred years evolution is still a "theory" for a reason -- because scientists have not been able to discover the requisite evidence to make it a law. Faith in evolution is like faith in the tooth fairy, and man has as much likelihood of "evolving" to peace as does the tooth fairy of bringing peace to Iraq.

Remarkable, is it not, that Peace is an individual responsibility? We can even prevent its theft. It has been given to each to cultivate within, and then freely pass it on to others.
