Loving World Welfare - Costs Less Than War!We need to turn to "Nurturing Harmony" for the world. This direction addresses building strong and healthy world communities without terrorism, poverty, or profiteering abuses. And "Nurturing Harmony" is fiscally sound. Consider: the annual cost of warfare and strife worldwide is well over $800 billion and growing; the annual cost to provide basic human welfare worldwide is under $300 billion (U.N. studies) and will be reduced each year as families get on their feet. Basic human living support is essential and is much cheaper than war and strife. Add the benefits of elevated morale and hope worldwide and we will witness a healthier and happier world.

agree, but think it would look differently
Survival takes some effort, even if only moderate or minimal effort......and it takes somebody's effort. I would say just don't exploite us, don't tax us....(to death? at all?) Just share the earth with us. Let us have some land to live on..... not own. Not buy and sell. Even this won't work if there is continued overpopulation. Also consider this, the rich and the poor are just playing a game of musical chairs. Or put another way, over time, the rich fall from their privileged perch only to be replaced by those who were once poor. I suspect it to be an endless cycle which will only be broken by people willing to live by a few simple principles. I suspect those principles can only be lived in some sort of communal living situation. But in the end it is the principles that must be lived. I see a difference between principles lived (very difficult right now because no one wants to do this) and wishing for peace.
