What lacks in war and situations leading to war is communication. Most of the time.. communication is what those who create war wants to avoid. Although they claim one point, they are really issueing another.

America a case in point.... we are told we are fighting terrorists (a few random wackos!), and that our soldiers are precsious and fighting for us.

Yet at the same time, the terrorists aren't the target and our soldiers are not given the right supplies, like bulet roof vest, etc. They are exposed daily to Depleted/depeting Uranium used in the weapon cases for the explosives they use. So our own government is intentionally killing their soldiers through deadly exposure. And this is passed on to their wives through their sperm. In Afganistan and Iraq, children are now being born with whole organs and brains outside of their body as well as no eyes and such. Nice population control for both sides.

The Homeland Security Act was drawn up way before the 911 event, and was rushed through without most of congress reading it. Where was the communication? Where was the nessesary discusion? Is everyone in too much of a hurry to talk? The hurry was intentional so that laws not supported by our constution would be missed and later those same laws taken seriously. Yet true communication with lawyers reveal that no law passed that superseeds the constution is valid.

What if they had read the whole Homeland Security Document on the TV, and then engaged in meaningful talk about all it's properties via all our wonderful media options. We have so much opportunity to simultaniouly engage people from all over the world, why don't we? What if they mounted a video cam on the shoulder of President Bush that was always on when he negotiated anything and there was a dedicated TV channel for this. Would it change things?

What if every month, the US government published a detailed account of all spending? This communication would show us how those we put in office spend our hard earned money. We could discuss more efficient ways to use money.

This is why there are so many attempts to narrow the use of the internet. Communication moves fairly freely here, and is probably one of the last vestages of our freedoms we faught so hard to make.

Can we communicate more, openly, allowing diverse opinions, and not subject the dreamers, scientists to various mockery. Perhaps if we had talked more, the People of Iraq would have backed up a simple plan to remove Saddam, and use the moneys so easliy spent on beneficial outcomes.

So now our president wants more soldiers and more money to waste on a nothing war.... it is time for us to communicate he cannot, should not and will not. We won't allow for our sons and daughters to go. Communicate in every avenue, every venue, with each other, with our elected ones, with those who are not sure or not what needs to be done.

Communication is an avenue of peace, and can hold the accords of peace. So lets communicate constantly! If We The People take more responcibility through our free speech, this year, I believe we will turn the course of events. This year is critical. This year we need you! Talk!
