Our president wants escalation of the war, sending 20,000 more soldiers there and when it met opposition, he retorted that he wanted to see other proposals. He recieved a one real good one! Actually We The People recieved a real good plan....

"The Bring Our Troops Home and Sovereignty of Iraq Restoration Act is the first comprehensive legislative proposal to end the occupation and provide a framework to help bring stability back to Iraq. Congresswoman Barbara Lee (D-CA), and Maxine Waters (D-CA), Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey (D-Petaluma) today introduced H. R. 508 -- comprehensive alternative to escalation: plan would bring all US troops home within 6-months."

And that is not all ...as it restricts going back in, leaves oil to the Iraqis, helps restore the health of our veterans, and other greatly needed actions that helps to bring about Peace through getting out of a country that is not ours.
