ConstitutionIn my last post I insinuated that we no longer use our Constitution. Granted there are laws that change the way the Constitution is supposed to be executed. The second amendment-Oh what a joyous amendment. We have the right to bear arms. And do what with them? Drive by and shoot each other like we are idiots. Watch our children die as victims of gunshot wounds in there own home, at the hands of friends and parents, On the local playground. Over the course of the last 231 years some things have not changed. This country was founded by the English Elite and is still ran by the elite. When was the last time the local factory worker, florist, midwife, barber, or cab driver was elected as President. Now every blog that I have read on this site is written with more intelligence than our elected officials display. They woo us and tell us they will do great things, but when was the last time we actually saw a GREAT change? You know, I don't remember. Not in my life. The facism of the United States is obnoxious. We are ran by the big pharmaceutical companies, food companies to make us all fat, the ones that have the money. Our elected officials don't have to worry about paying the bills, or how much gas their cars burn, how they are going to scrounge enough up for their next meal. I am not saying all the privilaged act in the way that the government does. If we are truly free then why do we need a Constitution to outline our rights and privilages? If we are truly free then we should never have to worry about what we do or say. We don't need a Constitution. We need morals and values and humanity and mostly COMMON SENSE.
