Community and individual must move together
If we wait until we are perfect human beings, community won't ever happen. Of course, as you say, community also depends on us as individuals possessing a certain level of awareness. Still I would say they are mutually supportive, mutually must move simultaneously.
I don't understand why any effort for peace would not mention population restraint, the need to end exploitive capitalism, usury, and owning more than one uses, and the need for food to be grown organically. These are not just words. There is practically no way anyone could live this way without living in a rural cooperative commune.
I'm simplifying a bit to make the point.
Join others dedicated to the cause of peace in a plan to live in a LARGE, rural, largely self sufficient, humanistic, communitarian socialistic cooperative: non income sharing. A VERY different plan www.abundancethroughsharing.org
