The Wicked TruthThe wicked truth in my opinion is that the "West" is basically dominated by the feminine element and the "East" by the masculine. Both elements, when operating from a position of dominance, in other words not in partnership with the other element, are extremely unbalanced and dangerous. In my opinion the entire capitalistic nightmare is a feminine manifestation.... nucular bombs, CIA death squad trainers, Vietnam, Irag....it's all about money.... for women....and it's about the disposability of men. America is about materialism, security, and fear all female elements. And we're all too busy working to satisfy "her" demands to really think about what is really going on. I'm tired of skirting the real issues just because they are so politically in correct.

propeace quoteA little patience, and we shall see the reign of witches pass over, their spells dissolve, and the people, recovering their true sight, restore their government to its true principles. It is true that in the meantime we are suffering deeply in spirit, and incurring the horrors of a war and long oppressions of enormous public debt....If the game runs sometimes against us at home we must have patience till luck turns, and then we shall have an opportunity of winning back the principles we have lost, for this is a game where principles are at stake. daily ombeyondanandarecent blog posts

Doubt The West "Male"
War makes money for an international super-class of rich HUMANS. We need to remember that, and not get too abstract.
From Helen Caldicott: "Lynne Cheney, Cheney's wife, you know, Dick?, who lives mostly underground and the fallout shelter in Washington. He's really the president. And he's protecting his life by living underground in case there's a nuclear war. His wife Lynne, she sat on the board of Lockheed Martin for 20 years. Donald Rumsfeld is extremely closely associated with Lockheed Martin, as are others in the Pentagon."
Female-dominated societies, 'Matriarchies,' tend to share, and not care who the father is, with uncles filling that parental role. In male dominated societies, men use expendible boys to make armies for rape and pillage, and acquisition or access to women. An extraordinary percentage of Asians share some genes which scientists theorize come from Gengis Khan and sons.
More on HELEN CALDICOTT: President of Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR). PSR was the co-winner of the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize, and Dr. Linus Pauling individually nominated Dr. Caldicott for the Prize. Dr. Caldicott also founded Women’s Action for Nuclear Disarmament (WAND), and is the author of numerous books exploring nuclear and environmental issues, one entitled "The New Nuclear Danger: George W. Bush’s Military-Industrial Complex." Source: Nuclear Policy Research Institute. For a more info, go to

She likes policies in France that try to balance the percentage of each gender of political candidates running for office.
Isn't it time to let women, and we all start out as women until the 6th week of pregnancy, help run things?
After all, perhaps we were created in HER image. The cell, the egg, seems much more important than sperm, which more resembles a virus.
Read "The FIRST Sex," a great scientific book on recent research about gender.
masculine all the way...
I can see what you are wishing to show, that men do all this for women and their need for stuff. This was a problem for the Cherokee Indians when their women saw the ease of the weaving machines of the time. Then the coniving non-life affirming used the "divide and concour on them.
Yet my expereince is that it is a "male dominated" world. I, a woman, grew up in the shadow of my brother. He could do anything, and I had to stay home. He could persue any career and I had to go in to teaching. I was very good in art, but the only way I got "awards" was to sign a masculine name "Tommie" to my art. (I still laugh when I saw their faces looking at a woman!!) When I found the teaching field to be full, I went in to advertising. Again, I was to go get coffee, and take the lowly jobs. Yet my talent was very good. I finally went in to business myself. I catered to a 95% male clientelle, most in the real estate development. If I dress casually, I lost business. If I dress in all silk suits and high heels, I thrived.
Men over the centuries have dominated women and most kept women very much like their pets or work animals. There are many theories as to why; some say they were mystified over the miracle of birth and wanted to control that, while others say that man naturally fought and women needed their protection which grew in to ownership/marriage as a trophy of power and wealth.
Personally... it matters not what went before us. I made my own path through the male jungle of business and it is an illusion for the most part. If you want it badly enough you can do it ...male or female! I have created and owned three different businesses.
Now if you are mid-30's or younger, I can tell you that your view appears so right. With the abundance of advertising, focus on movie stars, soap opera's, and daily TV indoctrination as to what people ....especially women... need to have, wear, own, do....that many wives set the course of what their husbands procure. Since we have had peace in American, our men not going to war at the home lands, men have more time to persue careers. And wealty men then can spoil their mates, and/or sucume to greedy female demands. I can see where you get the idea that the West is female driven. But that is The Illusion that the "non-life affirming" wish us all to believe for them to enslave us forever, both male and female. It is just a small capsule within the larger context of male domination world-wide.
We never have had a female President, and we applaud when some female gets in to a high office of public service which is rare. Females just got the vote about 60+ years ago, and still there is so much "pay discrimination" within the work force...men recieving more pay for the same position, etc.
The only culture I have seen so far that has a more matriarical social order is the Hawaiians, and although it is there, the women let the men appear they are in charge, to blend in with the rest of the world. Yet the western materialism is now infecting them as well.
The true, natural, innate feminine energy is one of unity, harmony, and to nurture and grow, supportive, visionary. This is the innate traits born within all those with a feminine predisopsition. So women and some men, work with this energy. Over centuries of distortion, many males and females don't know up from down! We are presented with so many lies that we feel we must pick some of them to live. TV preaches daily that "all women must fight dirty to keep a man", pitting women against women....and that is so unnatural for women!! It is taught to all of us, even men, so no harmony can exsist. Yet looking back at our ancestors, there was little of that going on. Women would share men and visa vera. The jeolously was only prevelent within the ruling classes where deception was practiced. Seeing how it worked so well to change the center of power, the non-lifeaffirming uses this in all forms on us.
So I cannot agree with the comment about west/east, as to me it is all masculine inbalance that is so prevolent today, and it is evolving towards "true" feminine, which is unity, harmonmy and nurturing. Women would have never agreed on the Hiroshima bombings nor any thing like it!
Materializm has nothing to do with gender as it has an effect on all of us. I think men are really tierd of this type of world. They work too hard and are not as happy as they want. I saw an angry dad come home from his job as CEO where they chew him up from below and above. He never got to live life except when we went on a vacation. He was angry, tierd and watching our budget his whole life. Women are also tierd of it and ready for a change.
For true Peace to exsist.. we need the natural balance of male and female energies. We need to dump this consumerism which is a self perpetuating evil as the companies chant ... "BUY.. it is to save jobs!" We could do without 2/3rds of the stuff manufactured presently. But we would have to create more leisure time, and who wants to do that!
As I look at my 70 year old single, male neighbor.. (and giggle as I state this); he has collected every electronic gadget ever made. His garage is full of them! No female in sight, he never ever married, nor does he date. He just makes good money and collects! I think he believes "the man with the most toys when he dies wins!" The apittome of materialism. He has no connection to the world of people but, oh the expert about his stuff!
LOL
thank you for your post....and making us think!

To find a common ground in the minds of the all in the world is the greatest challenge ahead of us. To use gender, color, or race as a way to blame or rationalize subtle hate is pointless and ignorant. Men and women both cause problems as do black, white, yellow, red, American, German, Iraq,Frence ETC, all of us are to blame for the worlds problems. Not one group or gender. The real problem in the world is that we are all saturated with ignorance, biased-ness and blame.
Yes, one does need to always reflect on one's motivations
Yet, I think I'm going to continue pushing the envelope as it is. I think as long as we do not use the word "you" in our conversation or call people names I tend to think anything should be fair game. As for the gender issue, maybe it's not the same as saying men are responsible for this or that. But it seems like a lot of that has been said. Personally, I'm okay with that. I think men have been responsible for a lot of this and that. But I also think women have been responsible for a lot of this and that. If the things that men and women are responsible for are different, then maybe they do need to be examined.
I don't usually need to talk about the issues of our exploitative capitalistic system in terms of gender, however to talk in those generalities oftentimes do not seem to attract much interest. However interjecting gender into the debate, it is interesting how much people stand up and noticed all of a sudden.
My sense is in the West the feminine (or feminine ideas, ideals and perspective and desires) is in such a powerful position, such a dominant position that the masculine is practically cowering in fear to speak up in any way shape or form because of course those in power, those who seek to dominate, never wish their power and position to be challenged.
As for creating rifts that need healing, I don't know that things could get much worse for culture and for the relationships between the genders. And it's been off for a very long time. Millions upon millions live alone now. Or put another way, there's no problem as long as one is content to fulfill the role that is expected. Interestingly it is that expected role that women challenged so strongly and rightly and correctly so. However I do not believe the "role" that men have been expected to play including warrior, has been questioned, possibly at all.
And as a big reason why can't be questioned. The reason is to question both roles would bring into question the true underlying reasonsthis society has been involved in so many wars.

provocation and healing
Chris, I think it is very good to question deeply. But we should be careful about our motivations and our conclusions. How much can be achieved by statements of polarization and blame? You may find that you provoke strong reactions and discussion, which is all well and good. But are you prepared to facilitate the healing that is required in the wake of such statements? That is what we all want.
Peace.Jason.

I recieved two comments, one a civil questioning, the other resorted to the word you and name calling. It is to be expected I believe when we question deeply what's truly going on in our society.
What do I mean by saying American capitalistic society seems like a particularly feminine society? Because American society is more about materialism and security and less about ideas or ideals. Generalizations for sure, but I use them to summarize in a few words a hugely complex subject.
Bottom line: it has nothing to do with power or courage, men and women are equally powerful and courageous...... but they are both equally responsible for this world being exactly as it is.
