? How*Much ?How many more generations of terror has 800 billion dollars of worthless war bred ? How much destruction of family, life, social infrastructure and military equipment, has 800 billion dollars of worthless war reaped ? How much Homeland Security would have 800 billion dollars bought ? How many peaceful jobs would have 800 billion dollars created ? How many homeless families would have 800 billion dollars helped ? How many elderly people would have 800 billion dollars assisted ? How many global peaceful efforts would have 800 billion dollars served ? How much more could have been accomplished with 6 years and 800 billion dollars of peaceful forward progress ? How better served would the victims and heroes of 9-11 have been, with 800 billion dollars spent on creating trust and future hope ? How many more tours shall we burden upon the soldier ? Year #1 - Our borders would truly have been secured. Year #2 - Disaster victims would truly have been supported. Year #3 - Our elderly would truly have been provided with access to quality care and affordable treatment. Year #4 - Many of the homeless could have been housed and be helping many others. Year #5 - Our heads and hearts could have been held high, and our value as a people of peace and progress would have been admired and celebrated around the world. Year #6 - America would not be a four letter word. Year #7 - The Union would have been made stronger. Year #8 - The first Ethnic or Woman President of the United States could have been welcomed as an equal partner in serving, and healing the world, instead of being expected to act as a savior of it. How many more countries shall be bombed into the stone age ? How much more life are you willing to take ? How much is a world at peace worth ? ? Priceless ? ©Bruce Larson*Moore

Fear*Choice
hey Sarah,
thank*you for your comments on this post, and though i*agree with you 99.9% please allow me to interject that the choice given even before 9/11 was very specifically narrowed to a choice of fear, which held the world in fear of choice.
It is at these times those with a ruthless heart leap forward to control and take advantage of the shock waves created, 9/11 was quite literally the nail in the coffin of hope.
Only those already living with peace in their hearts and lives, have the strength and clarity of mind and soul to resist such a force, and even many of those will generally be overcome by the state of fear created.
Hence the only real choice available to most was to accept the fear.
The positive side of this reality is that most everyone now sees the false truth, corrupt power and insidious deceptions of those fears.
peace is rising ;)

I like rainbow list of reality of monnies delegated in this war,

My first thought after after 911 was take care of the families; afterward i heard stories first hand from a view of the 911 workforce who survived, some with, mental and emotional life time wounds a personal life altering reality that they have to live with everyday; Your blog, is so clearly stated, flawless in reality we were faced with as country during 911.
I was in Brooklyn, during the "Thankgiving" and I was staying at the marriot when it was packed with the coalition of Kuait students,on the day of their election. I talked to many of the students, I wanted to here whatit was like to have your country invaded, and while I was engaging in the humanistic story of there youth; It was expressed me somewhat humorously, that they could have taken Sadaam Hussian, out any time, and that this is about who is going to control the oil. Senior service I have talk to in this country, always, say guite adamently the war is about oil. For our country, oil and ecconomy needs to a challenged issue. I just gag, when I ask people who knew that this war is a mistake; why did they vote for Bush, and they said, well we did not have choice, I thought; So you choice Bush, over Gore in the first election, because, he wanted to spend money on the enviroment. You were demacrat and voted for Bush, and you say to me you have choice.
