Don’s Peace Vision

I see a day when each child in each school in all 192 countries would start their day together as one with a brief Peace prayer, peace song and peace intention for the day. A moment of silence looking at their Peace Pole or envisioning it to start each day literally in peace. Teaching them to hold that intention throughout the day and night could be a lifetime practice for all of us.

I see them in physical, mental, spiritual and emotional shape to create their own reality in each moment for the good of all and the harm of none.

I see them all as emissaries of peace preventing harm to themselves and their classmates throughout the day. Talking about nonviolent ways to deal with the bullies, the better thanes, the entitled ones, the shame based and guilt based victims of any kind of abuse or acts of hatred.

I see them creating sacred space as a daily routine; not just important events.

I see them smiling in joy to be together and learn without prejudice or discrimination.

I see honest answers to honest questions from the teachers and parents and older friends and relatives.

I see them with an outright love of life and all creation and a willingness to protect it with their own life.

I see no more children learning how to kill. It is my hope that the word war will never be spoken even in jest. Respect for all life will be a given not a casual choice.

I see a multi-cultural, multi-religious,multi ethnic, multi-tradtional weaving of all for the benefit of all.

I see our children and grandchildren leading the spiritual way passed the entrenced war machine
and reaching out with gentle hands to all nations creating a global culture of trust and understanding.

Compassion and non-violent action will open the floodgates of humanity and the people will take back there lives and there land with humility and thanks and share with each other the bounty that is our mother earth.

I see it happening NOW!
