Where has OUR government gone?

Tags:

I heard with my own ears, then later read in the newspaper, Pres Bush saying " . . . . about who serves in my government," . Well here it is folks, in black and white, how the President views the government of this United States - it is HIS!
Forget about "Of the people, by the people, for the people" that Lincoln so clearly understood when he delivered the Gettysburg Address. I'll bet Mr. Lincoln was rolling over in his grave when those words were spoken by Pres Bush. No, Pres Bush this is NOT your government, it is OUR government. We the people elect our representatives, we the people elect the President, we the people are supposed to be heard by those we elect, yet we the people are being ignored.
Yes, this makes it crystal clear now, that Pres Bush truly believes it is his government, as evidenced by his actions over the last six-plus years. A president that believed the government belonged to the people would work with those elected representatives for the good of the nation, not dictate what will be done, not create separation and division, not ignore laws and protocols. It is all very clear now, Mr. Bush, why cooperation and creative expression and different points of view are not part of your administration; when you are the government, you don't have to listen to anyone else.
Yes, very telling words about what is in your heart, Mr. Bush, about your level of respect for the people of this nation. No, Mr. Bush, this is not your government, it is OUR government. It is time for we the people to take it back.

Our*Task

Unfortunately George W. Bush was the right-man for the task of awakening humanity on a global scale to the full potential of its true power, L.O.V.E. and to also expose on a global scale the vile depth of deception and terror that humanities true enemy FEAR, will go to maintain control. So now the stage is set, to abandon the art of war, by beginning The Last*War, to usher in this dawning Age of Compassion and to Walk*On unto - - - The HE(ART) of Peace
