the misery and mystery of it all
were the twin towers set up
by a demolition expert
or just poorly designed
but who thinks to
get ready for a plane
hitting a building

still a tragedy on a grand scale
the cost of lives not valued
all martyrs for a cause
which cause though
my god is more right than yours
or the right to drive a hummer
in the land of the free

what price to pay of loved ones
never to return to orphaned hearts
leaving voids in the universe
to be so hated in the name of god
pray then for another god
who is just and merciful
in her name we thrive
