Saying Yes To Life

Several months ago someone approached me about doing a segment on SoulTV.net about one of my blogs: 5 Things You Can Do To Change The World. I said yes. Yesterday I got the results and I am very grateful that I said yes.

Saying yes to life seems even more important when we have many concerns. If we get afraid or filled with anger, that zaps us of too much of vital life force. Yes to all we have, yes to our thinking and questioning minds, yes to each day and each breath, yes to the greater wisdom of our heart and spirit and yes to the joy and possibilities of each moment.

Plus I read this from the Chicago Tribune on Buzzflash.com today and I thought this is not spirit in action this is an organization that is about control and power and not about our soul in any way.

BALTIMORE - Proclaiming a sense of new energy and empowerment, the nation's Roman Catholic bishops on Wednesday issued instructions to Catholic voters that their eternal salvation could be at stake when they cast ballots.

Bishops emphasized that voters must consider the church's teachings on abortion and other moral issues when they select a candidate for the White House or any other office. If they don't, bishops said, it's not clergy who will judge them but God.
