Each month we hold newcomer orientation conference calls for those that are interested either in learning more about the basics of what we are doing, and/or strategies for becoming active in your congressional district. We will also discuss how you can become a Department of Peace Congressional District Team Leader should that inspire you (click here to read more about this role). On the call we will go over the basics, you can ask questions, etc... We hope you will join us!

April 13th 6 PM Pacific, 9 PM Eastern
April 17th 4 PM Pacific, 7 PM Eastern

NEWCOMER ORIENTATION

I am somewhat cybernetically challenged and can't figure out why or how to join a newsgroup just to let you know I'd like to be in on the newcomer orientation conference call, so I will let you know here that I plan to call the phone number given with the code in my hand at 9:00p.m. eastern daylight time on April 13th. I am looking forward to learning how I can help in the push for a Department of Peace here in South Carolina, and I have regular communication with friends and relations in North Carolina who are interested in doing the same. Thanks for your efforts on behalf of all pacifists.

I am particularly interested in spreading posters to try to get a few busloads of sympathizers to go to Washington in September. I remember seeing a poster to download, but I can't remember where it was!
