hello, peace lovers..
i have some questions id really like to ask those of you who are reading..I have posted here several times with very little response, and im wondering why that is.. Is this forum about posting blogs or poems( which i admit are interesting) or about trying to create a group that can work for change? I know i dont know everything or even much about peace but I made a film called Peace Walker and we did an 1100 mile walk through Scotland and England. The purpose of the film to to question the ways to peace, not to dictate what those ways are.. Its to create some hope and inspiration in a younger generation that doesnt have much.
Clips from the film have gotten over 2 million views on You Tube and one video was voted one of the most inspirational of the year.. so i believe this is a film that people WIll want to see, and based on the comments received one that will give some people hope..
But this is a self funded film.. i have put over $100000 in to get this message out.. the partner who made the peace walk was killed in a car accident. Im not telling you this to feel sorry for me, but to ask you for some support.. have i not gotten it because im considered to be a commerical project? How else do I get this message out? Or do any of you have a problem with how im presenting my message? I just find it discouraging that a peace forum like this could offer so very little interest, and YES, even help, because i do need it.
