disengagement, de-escalation

Tags:

The "disengagement" going on right now in Gaza is a testament to the evolution of humanity and of the overarching desire for peace. Those who are sacrificing, willingly or not, their homes, livelihood and communities for the greater good are to be commended, and fully supported in their understandably emotional response. These are heroes in the story, just as any soldier who sacrifices on a battlefield would be a hero.

What strikes me as different about this evacuation is that it comes not in response to military defeat or intimidation, but on the heels of decades of violent and fruitless struggle. This is an act of de-escalation by the Israelis. They are trying a new approach after so much treasure and so many lives have been sacrificed without coming even close to the desired result. Israel's act of de-escalation represents an acceptance and a deeper understanding of its position and of the position of its neighbor nation. Let that be a model for the interaction of all nations on Earth.

I know there are plenty of cynics out there who have plenty of "yes, but..." comments. And there are the hawks who will only see this courageous de-escalation as an act of cowardice that will lead to more and more concessions. A lot depends now on a courageous Palestinian response. An equal act of de-escalation on their part will begin, with the encouragement of the world community, and ongoing relaxation of the violent reflex that has been in almost constant operation in the region for decades.

I am happy to see so much media attention to the "disengagement." I hope that a balance can be maintained in the media between well-placed optimism and healthy skepticism. Here's a Boston Globe editorial that I think nicely represents that balance: http://www.boston.com/news/globe/editorial_opinion/editorials/articles/2...

Number four is the option which truth embraces, all one needs is the courage (as in the french meaning, "strength of heart") to give that love to others.

jumping up and down

History shows us a pattern of human nature that is uncomfortable, intolerable. We fight. We suffer. We are very, very concerned about the fighting and suffering. Our discomfort is such that we want an immediate correction. We are taught our history as a series of conflicts, revolutions and sweeping changes.

But I think the propeace evolution is different in that it is a relaxation of violent impulse and reflex rather than a forcible rejection of what came before. If propeace were to "prevail" then the implication is that there is a loser, which begets further antagonism and perpetuates the cycle. We are at peace when we realize the truth of our humanity and cease to struggle against it. Jumping up and down in outrage either about "the enemy" or about "the war mongers" is part of the same struggle.

Contrast the stance of President Bush with the stance of Prime Minister Sharon. Bush is prepared to perpetuate conflict as long as "the enemy" exists no matter how bloody, expensive, deceitful and stupid the battle gets. Sharon's stance has evolved from hard line "butcher" to a finer sensibility, one of choosing the lessor of evils. Which would you rather?

  1. Israel continue the occupation of these territories so as not to give an inch to the enemy
  2. Israel return occupied territory to its neighbor while also creating a perceived increase in security
  3. Israel and Palestine recognize each other's right to exist and enter into a lasting peace treaty while still eyeing each other with suspicion
  4. Israel and Palestine immediately forget decades of hostilities and hug, then continue on with life as human beings in harmony

I'd like number 4. But which is most realistic and achievable right now given the current power structure and stage of humanity's evolution? Will it help anyone evolve if I jump up and down in outrage until number 4 happens?

Purpose*Devolution

Yes the power that "desires" to BE seems very much in control if one gives their personal energy to that power, and of course many, in fact most do, the purpose of "preaching" peace is to show and guide those who have the inner strength to SEE the historical facts in the TRUE context of what that power is constructed to do, enslave the world in fear.

There certainly are many who would be thrilled to see World War III, and even more that would welcome a limited exchange of nukes, and many, many more that will leap to plow their investment $$$ into the global security arms race, after the next terror attack.

As this devolution takes place all around, and in every area of the social structure, the Pro*Peace - wack case, fringe nut jobs, like*me ;) - will not have been fiddling as the city burns, will not have been giving our power and energy to the dark clouds of tyranny, and when the pot has boiled, or perhaps even before, either way there will be a large scale, global force of sanity to step up, put out the flames and replace Caesar.

It will happen and fear will fail, the simple hysterical fact of it all is that the power of tyranny as always fears the people most, and the evolution of war has tipped the balance of those willing to be sheep toward those not so willing, you can not keep killing off the sheep without them learning it's a one way door, which is why that power is now trying to learn how to just continue fleecing them.

The sheep will learn eventually, and then the yard will be filled with True*Wolves, who will not allow their pack, their family to be raised as cannon fodder.

This is Devolution.

At first, it puzzled me that the butcher Sharon would support evacuation of Israeli Jews from occupation of an area the Zionists created WW1 & 11 to secure, at everyone elses' expense, including the Jews. Then I learned from an interview with an Israeli solder that they (army) were being briefed on the policy of securing an evacuation. Whereas 'shoot-to-kill' applied to all 'suspect' Palastinians, they were instructed to first, shoot-to-maim and then shoot to kill Jewish settlers. As the soldier pointed out, he'll obey instructions but was having a problem with the idea of shooting his own people.

So, what's behind this? It has been speculated, on obvious evidence, that this is the final move in kicking off WW111. By removing the Jewish settlers, Sharon and his NWO pals can blast the proverbial out of the Muslim Palestinians with inpunity. Iran, Syria, Russia, China, Brazil, USA and UK will all be involved, as they are already.

What is your point in preaching peace when those in power and orchestrating mass global genocide and control, are not in the least bit interested - it is contrary to work taking hundreds if not thousands of years to conclude. The only way that any vision of harmony can possibly pierce through these dark clouds of tyranny is to first remove those forces of power promoting the NWO and Illuminati agenda. Until then, the entire population are being humoured until the pot has boiled, the trap is sprung and there's no possibility of escape. Does that make me cynical? To read the writing writ clear and for centuries on the wall and too see through this facade. A little historical fact and context may help.

Lets also not forget that these settler "Heros" just as the battlefield soldiers, we're the ones who went to fan the flames in the area of conflict to start and maintain the generations of hostilities.

Lets also not miss the fact that what is actually taking place is a "move" for survival. With violent escalation comes a willingness to withdraw, to a point of less conflict. Meanwhile they will build their wall, which in the future will serve to isolate and contain, not their enemy, but their own population, leaving them in a box ripe for the slaughter, this is the way of fear in the realm of war, it has played this game time and again throughout your history and will never change, without the adoption of PEACE related actions guiding all*ways.
