New Website
Welcome to the propeace community, Joseph. You have a beautiful, inspirational, and informative website growing - congratulations! As Editor here at propeace.net, I have taken you at your word and copied some of your quotes to our quote rotation. I will be using other material at your site in my propeace efforts. As a District Coordinator for the Department of Peace Campaign, I think I also have the authority to invite you to include The Peace Alliance and Foundation, www.thepeacealliance.org, in your list of organizations.
It is empowering to connect with you. I am especially turned on by our shared view that peace is a layered concept ranging from the micro level of peace within to the macro level of peace with our planet; that as individuals we can address these innermost and outermost layers directly, and the intermediate layers (peace in the schools and other institutions, and between nations, religions, and other levels of community) will follow.
So much of your material addresses the objection that "peace activist" is an oxymoron. I appreciate your free sign and your suggestion that we institute our own version of a national ID program! We obviously share the belief that the propeace community has reached what Marianne Williamson calls "critical mass." It is time to "go public" and work for solidarity.
I hope you will come back to your blog here at propeace.net and update us on your progress.
