Hello to All!

Today, Friday, August 26,2005
marks a very special day for all of us working on the U.S. Department of Peace bill.
This letter from the Office Of The City Clerk -- Everett, MA 02149 exemplifies the support and desire in local government to find peaceable solutions within the many facets of our society; locally, state-wide, nationally and internationally. The City of Everett is the first city of Massachusetts to pass a resolution for a U.S. Department of Peace and serves as a model for other towns and cities in Massachusetts to do the same!

Thank you Pat Simon and Jason White for your incredible help, support and efforts! I would also like to extend a very heartfelt "thank you" to Alderman Jason Marcus, President of the Everett Board of Alderman, for extending his support and help with presenting the resolution to the entire Board of Aldermen.

Most Sincerely,
Andrea Loretz-Frey
U.S. Dept. of Peace campaign coordinator,
dist. 7 (MA)
