We the people"We the people" if you don't recognise that quote go back under your rock. I have been posting on a great number of "movement sites" and I am realizing that a common thread runs throughout. People complain about the government not doing anything, they protest, they march and they post online. I understand you are upset. The government is not your mother. Let go of the nipple. If you want to see something done about the current problems in this world, BOYCOTT OIL!!! You say that isn't possible? You say the government should develop alternative energy programs? What if they don't. What if they wait until it is gone... Will you wait, or will you inconvenience yourself to do something now? Sounds good? How can you get started? there are lots of ways, Lots and Lots of ways. Stop talking about it. Stop reading about it, stop waiting on the government. Do something today. We the people are where the strength, the innovation and the ability is. "WE THE PEOPLE" Are you a people? Oil is not the only thing you can do something about. Take a breath of fresh AIR, Light a fuse and watch the explosion that creates our future. http://www.airusa.org TODAY!!! |

Oil....smoil
It is not about Oil nor will any boycott be realistic enough. The numbers never have been there for Oil boycotts.
The fight is at the top of our government. The fight is hard, uphill and constant.
It is worth it, and many are fighting it from different angles.
But it was never about oil.... try world domination by a few with no country loyalites!

"What was the US really pre-empting with its pre-emptive war? Not Saddam, but effective UN sanctions and inspections. They had to be stopped before they could succeed and spread--metastasizing peace, eroding the diktat of the world's only remaining Great Power"
Power always erodes from within, their illusion of controlling the people can not be maintained by myth and deception. Truth and peace will always overcome fear and hate . . .
Truth has spread across the globe and continues to grow . . .

It was my understanding that we are not fighting for oil for the american citizen, but control of oil for oil corporate companies,
We are not that dependent on middle east oil as our corporate investors, for profits to made, abroad. In addition, when they say who will control the oil; looking back at history, at the iraq and iran war that kill over 100,000 people, and the war the war we participated in, nobody is going to give country the oil, our president is from the oil state, obviously this is Texas monies.
The other thing that, most americans understand about the middle east is that, the countries, are of the family, and it is there dispute, and the corporate American business, what control, hardball, The american public have no reason to fear, running out of oil, but the corporate will does fear loosing business, We have kuait and saudia arabia; we just want them to keep control, they could taken Saadam anytime, for them, it is different perception, and never forget, there is a lot of money to be made,
