Description:
On Monday, November 14th at 7 PM, First Parish in Concord's Social Action Committee will co-sponsor a panel titled "Bring Home the Troops", a discussion on the Iraq war including current status, possible directions, and, especially, ways to extricate ourselves and bring our troops home as soon as possible.
The panel will include:
Moderator: Robert Plotkin, Esq., Concord Atty.
Clergyman: Rev. John Hudson, West Concord Union Church
Politician: Gladys Rodriguez-Parker, Director of Community and Intergovernmental Relations, office of Rep. James McGovern.
Iraq Veteran: Andy Sapp, returning from second tour of duty in Iraq.
Parent of Soldier in Iraq: Nina Ryan Douglass
Please come and hear their varying perspectives, followed by an open discussion of the issues and options, for the country and for individuals.
