Memorial*Built in memory of fallen soldiers, tragic accidents, departed loved ones, each memorial stands to honor individuals who lived and died in fear, every stone raised to remember those who followed the rules, who died horrible deaths so that we can continue to live under the same fear that sent them to an early grave, would they not be better served if we remembered the victims, there is no holocaust memorial for the American Indians, or the Kurds, no global day of mourning or remembering for the hundreds of millions of souls which have died at the hands of freedom fighters throughout the ages, the time has come to build memorials which remind us of the true cost of living and dying by the sword, grand walls which speak the lost and repressed words of the victims of our daily decisions, sacred and holy grounds which prove our intentions to offer peace, harmony and compassion to your neighbor, it is time to cast off the way of the warrior, to feed the weapons, machines and systems of war into the forge of healing power and guiding light of love, to step free of labels, taxes, crime and punishment, it is time to teach and remember that we are born NOT to control or serve others, we are born of free will, to control and serve our own destiny, within the rewards, compassion and trust of an honest life, built in memory of our very soul and those who died for that path. ©Bruce Larson*Moore Love*Rulz (Available on DVD ;)

Misplaced Compassion
I'm thinking about getting a new chiropractor. On his wall hangs a beautifully computer-generated expression of compassion for the military, national guard, police, fire fighters, EMS workers, humanitarian workers, and even the good samaritans who lost their lives in response to the disaster of 9/11. What's wrong with this picture? Who's missing? (HINT: How about the civilians - the ordinary people going about their ordinary routines at their ordinary jobs to enrich their ordinary lives!) Heroes? Each of us is the hero in our own unique life drama.
