Bill Moyers for President

This is such good news! An editorial on Bill Moyers appeared at propeace.net back in May. Even then, before Cindy Sheehan and Camp Casey, before The Peace Alliance Conference, before the president started getting "bad press," before the shower of indictments in DC, there was an undercurrent of progressive thinking making itself felt, if not in this country, then at least at this website. Now progressives have a viable third-party candidate they can get behind.

But we can't call it the Progressive Party. Hey! How about the PAJAMA Party?

Read more about his beliefs and his vision, then sign the petition to invite this stellar candidate to mount a serious campaign. Leave Dennis to his new marriage and the DoP Campaign and let's have a candidate with wide multipartisan appeal who can WIN!!

PAJAMA PARTY

"If we build it, he will come." The PAJAMA PARTY needs a platform. For review, we spell the party in upper case because it is an acronym. PAJAMA stands for Peace and Justice for AMericA. PARTY is the frame for building our platform, like this:

Please Answer R True Yearning for peace and domestic tranquility.
Please Answer R True Yearning for justice seasoned with mercy.
Please Answer R True Yearning for sustainable lifestyles through investment in research and education.
Please Answer R True Yearning for equitable distribution of resources through tax reform.
Please Answer R True Yearning for accountability in governance through electoral reform.
Please Answer R True Yearning for transparency through media reform.

I challenge you to add your own planks to this platform. Then have a look at this from Common Dreams and see if you agree that Bill Moyers is the man to stand on that platform.
