They Won't Be Home For Christmas

Another year, American Heroes
Are fighting in a foreign land
And there is still, no end in sight
A part of life they hadn't planned.

They do their duty without question
And they all stand proud and tall
They are placed there in harm's way
As they answer, our Country's call.

The holidays are upon us
And Christmas is drawing near
But for far too many Families
There won't be a "Happy New Year".

Their loved ones are off at War

FOR A QUARTER CENTURY

They are listed in the order
Of the way our Heroes fell
Behind each name many stories
That, they never got to tell. read more »

What part don't you understand
When the People say, "We're tired!"?
When our Troops and their Families
Say, they are no longer inspired?

"Stay the course.", "They'll follow us."
Just doesn't ring true, anymore
To, "Take the fight to the terrorists!"
Is not really why, we went to War.

In fact, we've made more enemies
They just don't want us on their soil read more »
